Dromantine College Newry

This beautiful country house set in lush grounds originally belonged to the Innis family, but for many years now has served as the centre of operations for the Society of Missions to Africa.

The centre was extensively refurbished to include a conference centre with accommodation for visiting delgates.

We worked  closely with Beattie Flanigan Consulting Engineers to produce a dramatic yet attractive design, which respects the original architectural facade.

Rather than floodlight the entire fascia and lose the detail, we used iGuzzini Radius floods in the window recesses to give depth to the elevation, bringing out the detail in the stone work.

Ground recessed uplighters are used to provide additional fill light at ground floor level.
